On the southeast side of the church, there is a sizable and lovely garden dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The statue of Mary holding the Christ Child is surrounded by commemorative bricks each bearing the name of an honored member or friend of St. Justin Martyr Parish.
Around the bricked area there are trees, shrubs, and flowering plants lovingly tended by a parish group known as the "Gardening Angels".
Especially in clement weather, people pause to pray in the garden, fulfilling Mary's own prophecy,
"...behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed...the Mighty One has done great things for me..." (Luke, 1:48-49)
