On the left side of the church, the window with the wedding rings symbolizes the Sacrament of Marriage, through which the groom comes to symbolize Christ and the bride symbolizes Christ's bride the Church.
Here at St. Justin Parish, couples are lovingly prepared for the Sacrament of Marriage, weddings are celebrated joyfully, and, after the wedding, Family Life Ministry seeks to support couples and families in their ongoing spiritual journey.
Window of Holy Orders
The Sacrament of Holy Orders, instituded by Christ at the Last supper, is symbolized in the window depicting the cross, the Lamb of God, and the chalice. This sacrament encompasses deacons, priests, and bishops.
In this parish, the Vocations Committee seeks to promote vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
Window of Anointing of the Sick
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is suggested by the window depicting a cane and containers of food and water for those who are ill. The family of a sick parishioner may call the pastor and ask for the Anointing of the Sick.
At St. Justins, this sacrament is also celebrated on the fourth Saturday of each month at the morning Mass in the chapel.
