ST. JUSTIN MARTYR RESPECT LIFE
Bros. and Sisters,
The Fall prayer vigil of 40 Days for life was concluded on Nov.1. 2020.
St. Justin's prayer day was on October 24th, 2020.
Here are a few pictures from that day. Notice the mobile clinic (Houston Coalition for Life) which is available free to all women as hope and help with their pregnancies. When the women visit the mobile clinic, they see their babies on the ultra sound, and usually choose life.
Thank you to those who came out to pray on the street and thank you all for your prayers at your respective homes to defend and protect life.
Let us continue to pray and do good works to serve God and love our neighbor.
Blessings to all for a safe Thanksgiving Holiday and a Holy Christ-Mas season.

Pointers:
Optional: If you want to keep masks in your car, to hand out to people so that they don't feel that they have to leave if they forget their mask, that is up to you.
The mask does make the situation much warmer/hotter, so it is important for people to bring water.
Leaders do NOT have to police volunteers regarding masks. If they don't want to wear one, they don't have to leave. However they do need to be aware that they could be issued at $250 fine and there are police in the area (including an off duty officer inside of the abortion facility) . HCL can not afford to pay for this fine nor for any sort of legal action they plan to take against the mask mandate. It is their freedom, their health and their money if they choose to take that route.
If you want to hand out signs, we will only be using 40 Days for Life signs and you do not have to clean these. I just need to know if I'm going to get them back from your group if you use them.
The key is to spread people out and we don't want them to make a big circle that goes into the street. To help prevent this, it is optional to position volunteers...one on each driveway and one down by the employee entrance, one at the corner...etc.
To get pictures you can go across the street to show they are spread out. I CAN NOT use a picture with people's faces when they are NOT wearing masks because the internet gives photos a "long life span" and I'm not going to get my volunteers in trouble.

Prolife Rally - Austin, Texas - Saturday, January 25, 2020
Bros and Sisters,
Thank you for your prayers and support in defending life.
St.Justin was well represented with a bus load of saintly parishioners including
Fr. Paul. The estimated attendees was about 6000 from all Christian denominations. We heard from our political supporters that progress is happening to restrict abortions and defund Planned Parenthood.
We all know the utlimate end to abortion will only come when a person has a conversion of heart and chooses the way and the truth and the life who is Jesus Christ.
May God be praised for a successful pro-life rally.

This year, like every year, we went out to give sleeping bags and other supplies to the homeless in the Downtown area. When we arrive, they immediately lined up to receive cooked hot dogs and snacks, socks , fleece shirts (provided by the Social Ministry)toiletries, and, of course sleeping bags. I am proud to say we distributed about 100 hot dogs and more than 70 sleeping bags and mor importantly,to see so many volunteers come out with high spirits. Thankyou to all who came out and helped, hope to see you next year!

"I now have hope."
At least two lives were saved outside of Planned Parenthood this past Monday, October 21, 2019. Sue, a sidewalk counselor, had the blessing of helping both of these women on the sidewalk. However, in both cases, there was another person in the woman's life who positively influenced her choice to keep her baby.
For the first woman, that person was her mother; and for the second, it was her pastor. She had confided in her pastor about the planned abortion, and he reminded her that the baby wasn't just her child; it was God's child. By the time Sue met the woman, she had already decided not to abort. Sue was able to help connect her with the Blue Blossom Pregnancy Centers and the assistance she needed. As the woman was leaving, she told Sue, "I now have hope."
Bros. and Sisters,
